Uwell Caliburn 11W Pod System 520mAh Pro-FOCS UK

Removable Battery, Pro-FOCS Flavour Technology, and Dual Firing in a Slim Aluminium Pod Kit

The Uwell Caliburn 11W Pod System stands out from most pod kits in its class for one practical reason: the 520mAh battery is removable. Rather than charging the device via USB and waiting for the battery to reach full capacity before vaping again, you can take the battery out and charge it externally in a dedicated battery charger, then swap in a charged battery and continue vaping immediately. For vapers who use their device throughout the day and cannot afford downtime, this is a meaningful design advantage over sealed-battery pod kits. The USB cable is also included in the box for those who prefer to charge in-device.

The Pro-FOCS flavour technology is Uwell's proprietary system for improving flavour delivery in pod devices. Rather than simply drawing air through the coil in a straight line, Pro-FOCS recycles drawn airflow back through the atomizer core, loading the airflow with condensed flavour before it reaches the mouthpiece. The practical effect is a more concentrated, accurate flavour delivery than you get from a standard pod coil at the same resistance and wattage. At 1.4ohm and 11W, the Caliburn is a mouth-to-lung device, and the Pro-FOCS system makes the most of the tight, controlled draw that MTL vaping produces.

The firing mechanism gives you two options: draw-activated or button-activated. The draw-activated system fires the device when you inhale through the mouthpiece, with no button press required. The button-activated system provides a backup if the draw-activated mechanism develops a fault, and the device includes a draw-activated mechanism fault diagnosis function that alerts you if the draw sensor is not working correctly. The aluminium alloy chassis keeps the device lightweight despite the solid construction, and the dimensions of 110 x 21.2 x 11.6mm make it genuinely slim and pocket-friendly. Side-mounted airflow holes on each side of the device allow air to enter the coil evenly, and the LED battery life indicator gives you a clear read on remaining charge without navigating a screen menu.

The 2ml pod uses a top-fill system where the drip tip doubles as the fill port cover, with dual 3.5mm fill ports and a minimum fill line on the pod to prevent dry hits. The pod connects to the device via a proprietary gold-plated magnetic snap-in connection, which makes pod swaps fast and secure. The 1.4ohm pod coil resistance sits within the device's supported range of 1.2 to 1.5ohm. Safety features include short-circuit protection, low power alert, and a 10-second cut-off. For nic salt e-liquids suited to 1.4ohm MTL vaping at 11W, we stock a full range in our nic salt and MTL e-liquid collection.
